Bird 5012D 400W Peak Wideband RF Power Sensor

The 5012D RF Power Sensor never requires field calibration, only requires calibration once per year and is traceable to National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). The WPS measures True Average Power, Peak Power, and Duty Cycle directly with exceptional accuracy and uses these precise measurements to calculate a wide range of other important factors, such as VSWR, Return Loss, Reflection Coefficient, Crest Factor, Average Burst Power, and CCDF.Included Accessories: User Manual, VPM3 - Virtual Power Meter Software and Manual, 10 ft. USB Cable.Features and Specifications: The Bird 5012D boasts a comprehensive frequency range from 350 MHz to 4.0 GHz, which caters to the diverse needs of today’s complex RF environments. It provides an extensive power measurement capability, ranging from as low as 150 milliwatts (mW) to a peak power of 400 watts (W), ensuring accurate readings over a broad dynamic scale. In terms of insertion voltage standing wave ratio (VSWR), the sensor exhibits outstanding performance with values of less than 1.05 from 0.35 to 2.5 GHz and less than 1.10 from 2.5 to 4 GHz, guaranteeing minimal signal loss during measurement. Moreover, the insertion loss is maintained at an impressively low level, being under 0.05 dB from 0.35 to 1.0 GHz and under 0.1 dB from 1 to 4 GHz.
Note:The astrisk (*) displayed in the Product Specifications indicates (for temperatures above 35°C or below 15°C add 3.0% to stated accuracies) - this includes the entire "Accuracy-Peak Envelope Power" spec as well.
From simple true-average power measurement applications, to the measurement of the complex waveforms associated with modern communications systems, where peak power or burst power measurement are essential. All Bird RF Sensors are rugged, highly accurate, and provide high value power measurement solutions.
