This kit contains all the equipment required to test from source the complete pitot & static air data system on the Bell Agusta BA609 helicopter, as well as the means of pre- testing all adaptors and hoses prior to being fitted to the aircraft.
Pitot Adaptor
Part No. P14789RD-4C (3 req’d.)
These units fit the pitot probes located on the nose and when installed they will isolate and test each system separately or simultaneously.
Pre-Test Probe
Part No. PT11882 (3 req’d.)
When this unit is inserted into the adaptor and the extension hose is connected form the pneumatic generator, the complete system, tester, hoses and adaptors can be tested before fitting to the helicopter.
Static Test Adaptor
Part No. 33410-70-4 (3 req’d.)
These units fit the static vents located on the nose area of the helicopter. The protective caps also act as pre-test adaptors.
Static Blanking Adaptor
Part No. 33410-70B (3 req’d.)
These units are used to blank off the static vent on the opposite side of the nose, thus completely closing off the system.
Pitot Test Hose Assembly
Part No. BA609-6360 (1 req’d.)
This hose is connected to each pitot inlet of the adaptors and is fitted with double acting quick disconnects for use when it is desirable to test only one pitot system. The connection for the pitot outlet of the pneumatic generator is included on this assembly.
Static Test Hose Assembly
Part No. BA609-4059 (1 req’d.)
This assembly attaches to the static adaptors. The double acting quick disconnects operate in the same manner as that on the pitot test hose assembly. The extension fitting then connects to the static outlet hose of the pneumatic generator.
Seal Kit - Part No. SK789RD (3 req’d.)
Three sets of spare seals for pitot adaptors are supplied with each kit.
Seal - Part No. 410-7 (3 req’d.)
Three spare seals for static test adaptors - P/N 33410-70-4 are supplied with each kit.
Manual - Part No. 444-609-723
One manual is supplied with each kit.
The equipment is enclosed in a case assembly.
