Pitot Static Test Adaptor

This unit fits the pitot probes AN5813 located on the nose and when installed will isolate and test each system separately or simultaneously.
Pre-Test Probe

When it becomes necessary to test the integrity of the pitot test adaptor and/or hoses and test set, these units are installed into the pitot test adaptor thus simulating the pitot head.
Pitot Test Hose Assembly
Part No. SH2G-7270 (1 req'd.)
This hose is connected to the pitot inlets of the adaptors and is fitted with double acting quick disconnects for use when it is desirable to test only one pitot system. The connection for the pitot outlet for the pneumatic generator is included on this assembly.
Static Test Adaptor

Static Test Hose Assembly

This test hose is attached to the static position on the adaptor and to the static outlet of the pneumatic generator.
Lubricating Fluid
Part No. LF5050 (1 req'd.)
This fluid is used to lubricate the glands of the pitot static test adaptor. It is recommended that a small amount be adaptor onto pitot head. This will ensure smooth installation onto the pitot probe.
Seal Kit - Part No. SK892 (2 req'd.)
Two sets of spare seals for the pitot static adaptors are supplied with each kit.

Static Test Adaptor

One of these adaptors is used fro testing and the other is used for blanking. The adaptor which is used for blanking must have the blue blanking cap ssembly tightened on the -4 fitting. The static test adaptor should have the static test hose attached before installing adaptor onto aircraft. The adaptors are installed as follows: Screw the adjustment screw back against the stop. Insert the seal into the hole over the static vent. Attach the adaptor to the aircraft by pushing the toggle switches on the suction cups down. Both the suction cups and aircraft skin must be clean. Use the adjustment screw to push the seal against the vent. Do not over tighten as this will deform the seal and cause leakage.
